Alongside
Physio alongside holistic care
While physiotherapy is traditionally focused on improving physical health, I believe that true healing is holistic—it comes from caring for the whole person. In our sessions, we won’t just focus on movement and strength; we’ll also explore the things that matter to you on a deeper level.
Journeying alongside you
Whether it's discovering new interests, connecting you to community resources and activities, or simply ensuring you feel supported and seen, I’m here to walk (literally and figuratively) alongside you every step of the way. Together, let’s work towards a life filled with joy, purpose, and hope—whatever that may look like for you.

About Me
Bachelor of Applied Sciences (Physiotherapy, 1st Class Honors), University of Sydney, 2011-2014
Master of Science in Applied Gerontology, Nanyang Technological University, 2018-2019
My passion for improving the lives of older adults led me to begin my career as a physiotherapist at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital from 2015 to 2023, where I specialized in geriatric care. This included working in the inpatient dementia ward, running outpatient dementia programs, and conducting home therapy as part of the Early Supported Discharge program for stroke and hip fracture patients. My voluntary work, from accompanying older adults to medical appointments to providing end-of-life care, enriched my understanding of the broader needs of older adults beyond the hospital setting and sparked my curiosity about what holistic care truly means.

Upon completing a Master of Science in Applied Gerontology, I began participating in the hospital’s community initiatives that emphasized the importance of social connections for health. Never one to shy away from pushing boundaries, I challenged traditional views of physiotherapy and arts in healthcare, and spearheaded the development of two arts-based health programs with over 300 participants: a falls prevention dance program for frail older adults, and a singing program for individuals with breathlessness. I also journeyed with elderly residents through weekly community health post sessions, connecting them to their fellow neighbors and community resources.

In 2023, a personal journey of healing and reflection deepened my commitment to support others to navigate life’s challenges with purpose and resilience. This has culminated in the founding of Alongside Physio.

Beyond work, I find joy in my take on the Singaporean’s 5Cs: coffee, cycling, crocheting, contemporary art, and conversations with good friends.
