Beholding
For being tenderly seen and honoured in life’s final unfolding
🕊️

To behold is to see someone fully, with awe and presence. However life has been, your story remains unrepeatable.
You deserve to be seen, heard, and valued — even, and especially, in your final chapter.
alongside Beholding offers death doula care to those diagnosed with a terminal illness, providing non-medical support through companionship, comfort, and guidance.

Who this is for
alongside Beholding is especially meaningful for those with a terminal illness who are:
-
Nearing the end of life and seeking a steady, non-judgmental presence
-
Wishing to reflect on their life and explore its meaning at their own pace
-
Hoping to create a legacy or remembrance project for loved ones
-
Wanting to shape their final days with intention, comfort, and personal rituals
-
Needing support with end-of-life planning, including guided imagery or vigil preparation
-
Desiring companionship in their final days that honours autonomy, emotion, and spiritual needs — without pressure to find resolution
-
Looking for someone to advocate for their wishes and values at the bedside
It doesn’t have to be about closure.
‘Finishing well’ can take many forms.
I’m here to honour what that looks like — for you.
What sessions could look like
There’s no pressure to do all — or any — of these.
Each step is yours to choose.
